February 25, 2-3pm: Talk. Environmentalist Dr. Vandana Shiva delivers her talk: Farming well: Health and Wealth per Acre in Alumni Hall, Nova Scotia Agricultural College, Truro, NS. $10.

February 28, 1:30pm: Reading. Frances Taggart reads from her book Blue Cheese for Breakfast: helping the widow learn to smile again at Woodlawn Public Library, Dartmouth.

February 29, 7pm: Reading. Vernon Oickle reads from his new book Red Sky at Night: Superstitions & Wives’ Tales at Keshen Goodman Public Library, Halifax.

February 29, 8-11:00pm: Reading.  Open Heart Forgery celebrates its second birthday by joining forces with the Lilah Kemp Reading Series to launch its March issue.
